Also known as "cannaroni" this Napolitan cut of tubular pasta is an excellent addition in baked dishes, soups and salads. The kneading and drawing of the dough through bronze dies creates a rough texture to which a delicious sauce can adhere. And being a mezzi or half-cut, it's also more friendly to recipes that don't involve cutting and are more fork to mouth. I've written a few reviews about this brand, many years ago I started to explore many artisan pasta brand's considering the best. All have few things in common, location water and wheat. Basic ingredients and not basic care of these 3 components. This brand and several others take it to a level that surpasses standard store brand's. My best advice is look past the cost of this product. It's cheaper than a value meal at McDonald's and will be better tasting. In the Chelsea market in New York city, they have a top rated restaurant that only sells this pasta and the place is packed. Give it a try and you will see why me and so many others keep coming back to this brand. .for years my wife couldn't Tolerate pasta, she can with this brand!

What a lovely pop of flavor with the lemon and basil combination. I added a lemon pasta to complement the sauce. It was amazing! I’ll keep this sauce as a staple in my pantry.
