He said / She said. So, he sets the ladle from the chili down on the copper spoon rest. She likes to practice her golf put into the copper putting cup around the house. If this happens simultaneously in your household, please buy two. We don't want to cause in domestic disputes. They also engrave beautifully so you sure which one is for chili and which is for golf balls. Thanks to our great photographer, Ashleigh Amoroso for putting a new spin on our classic country club gift.

Copper is a great material for a spoon rest as it does not corrode, it is non-reactive, and it is also naturally antimicrobial. The spoon rest is designed to fit comfortably in the palm of your hand and it also features a raised edge that helps keep the spoon from slipping off. This spoon rest will provide you with years of service and it will also add a touch of elegance to your kitchen.

Wash and immediately dry your copper items after use to prevent spotting! When not dried immediately, spotting can occur due to the trace amounts of chemicals in your tap water that can cause a reaction with the copper. Some people don't mind this spotting; they will actually let it build up on the cup over time into a matte patina finish that many folks find appealing. If you prefer the original bright shine from when you first got your Sertodo Copper hand hammered products, don't worry! You can easily return them to that original condition with a quick polish.

Master Artisan Jonathan Beall is the founder of Sertodo Copper. In the fall of 1997, he started working with Copper in Mexico and selling it throughout the United States from the back of his truck. He apprenticed for 2 years in Santa Clara del Cobre located in the Sierra Madres Occidental of Michoacan. This small town has an unbroken tradition of copper work that goes back over 1000 years.

After his apprenticeship, he started a workshop in Austin, T.X. which has grown significantly from that first simple, dirt floor, 2 person space. But his commitment to his copper craft and the commitment to all of their families, friends and customers who make Sertodo Copper a reality remains unwavering.
