Utah’s Barlow & Co. was started by Michelle Newman and Nick Barlow. Michelle has always had a passion for baking and was always intrigued by the mystery of sourdough. After overcoming her fears, she realized baking sourdough isn't as scary as it seemed. She's been making sourdough for years and continues to enjoy the lessons each loaf can teach. She teamed up with Nick Barlow whose furniture can be found in homes of prestigious Park City, the Hollywood elite, and retail spaces as far away as Paris.

While plastic dough scrapers are more common, they’re also prone to breaking more easily and tend to be dull / don’t cut dough as well.
Wooden scrapers are the traditional tool of choice and if taken care of (dry after cleaning and occasionally oiled) will last longer.
