Storage Tips: Refrigerate any cheeses and meats in a drawer close to where most of the produce is kept. After each time that you slice the cheese, re-wrap it with fresh plastic wrap to extend the shelf life. While some chefs will freeze a slice of blue and then grate it over a salad before serving, Chef's Mandala doesn't recommend freezing cheeses in general.
This creamy, double crème brie has a bloomy rind with a slight mineral tang. For a great cheese plate pair with Mahon and St. Agur or Cashel Blue. Or serve with an Ossau Iraty and La Bonde d'Antan. Popular sides are pickles, salami, crackers and carrot sticks.
I was so excited to find Brie de Meaux which I haven’t been able to find in grocery stores since the the pandemic. It arrived perfectly ripe and ready to eat.
Arrived in perfect condition to eat rice got away.
