- We are making on the island of Sicily chef created sauces that focus on unique flavors and ingredients that are among the best in the world. But to compare, 1 serving at a restaurant is usually around 2 ounces of dry pasta and 3 ounces of sauce. Our Gragnano pasta and Sicilian sauce easily make 6 servings.
- In the USA a restaurant will typically charge between $25 and $35 for 1 serving of a basic pasta dish with fancy restaurants charging $50 or more for a specialty dish. To make the math simple, if you paid the restaurant $30 for a black truffle sauce with mushroom over slow-dried pasta from Gragnano, you paid us just $4 for something even better. Yes, that doesn’t include sometimes decent service, but a pajama dress code is allowed!
- Comparing to retail brands is much harder since they normally don’t use the same ingredients (truffles, lemons, capers, white wine, etc).

Our Gragnano pasta is 9 servings and each jar of sauce is 4.5 or more servings. So we calculate 2 servings of pasta AND 2 servings of sauce combined as being equal to 1 meal. Please note this is meant to be a helpful but approximate definition, some people will eat more per meal and some less.

Having a fancy, delicious sauce opens a world of recipes just on its own. Our goal is to quickly and easily improve any dish to which you add these items. In your kitchen lifestyle, each week do you spend hundreds of dollars on fresh truffles to grate over your meal? Probably not, but now you can add a bit of our black truffle sauce with mushroom to a grilled chicken breast before serving!

We need 2 business days to process and pack, and then via ground in the continental USA it can take up to 5 business days. If you’re in Alaska or Hawaii double to triple that depending on USPS.
Please return your order, unopened and in the condition that you received it to our warehouse at 35 Woodland Ave, Rockaway, N.J. 07866. We do not pay for shipping on returns. Once we’ve received it we’ll issue a refund to the account that purchased it.
Yes as soon as you finish processing and paying for your order, and email confirmation goes out. When we ship the order out, a 2 nd email is sent to you with the courier name and tracking information (please check your junk/spam folder in case it’s routed there).
The subscription with it’s large initial and ongoing monthly discounts is only offered as a reward to loyal subscribers. We don’t have other programs at this time sorry!
Our website offers general monthly subscriptions. In addition, for this specific promotion, for a limited time we’re offering 2 choices:
- Pick one of our monthly subscriptions with a dollar discount applied to the first month’s order or place a one time order with no discount.
- Our subscriptions are billed by payment period, 1 period is 2 months or 2 orders.
Yes! You can cancel at any time, it will apply when your current subscription period ends (a specific date each month at 60 day intervals).
Just email us at info@chefsmandala.com with your full name (as it appears on your subscription), order # and request to cancel your subscription. Your email should come from the same email address that you used when creating the subscription (for security purposes). We will email you back a confirmation within 2 business days that your subscription has been cancelled. If you do not receive an email from us (email issues while rare can occur) please email us again. Also please check your junk / spam folder in case our email reply ends up there. Your cancellation will apply after your current subscription period ends. The cancellation will NOT apply retroactively and any orders scheduled to ship out prior to the subscription period cancellation date will still ship out and be billed.
Yes we are giving a dollar discount as a gift to be applied. However we aren’t just sending out free money, we are requiring that this discount be applied against a purchase.
Most orders are 5 business days or less. However, in rare cases (Hawaii, Alaska, etc) this can take up to 10 business days by ground shipping.
USPS sometimes makes mistakes, and will list a package as delivered but then drop it off several business days later. Please wait 3 business days before reaching out to us. Also USPS will occasionally have an issue making a delivery. They will send a confirmation that the delivery has been made, but keep it at the closest post office to the shipping address, or a USPS parcel mail locker (if the package is too big). In that case, a key will be left at the shipping address that opens the parcel locker. Check the USPS website for more information on how parcel lockers work near you.
An email confirmation goes out when your order is shipped with the carrier’s name and tracking code. Please check in your junk or spam folder (and mark the email as not spam so this does not happen going forward).
It can take up to 5 business days from when we ship (usually less), and we need up to 2 business days to receive, process and ship your order out (we’re not a gigantic, evil corporation). Please wait for that period of time before reaching out about a shipment not arriving.
The continental U.S.A. only, we do not ship overseas.
